Terms And Conditions
You (the “Writer”) are now submitting a script(s) and/or other written material (the “Material”) to Lost Tribe Productions Limited (the “Company”). In order to induce the Company into accepting such Material, and in consideration for doing so, Writer hereby confirms to and agrees with Company the following:
- The Writer represents and warrants that the Material is original and does not infringe any rights of any third party.
- The Writer has the necessary rights to grant all rights in and to the Material, free and unencumbered.
- The Writer acknowledges that the Company receives a great many submissions, and that many ideas for scripts are similar and similarities of subject matter often occur. Receiving the Material does not prevent the Company from originating or participating in or developing productions containing features or elements similar to those contained in the Material. The Company cannot and does not undertake to compensate Writer if material similar to the Material, received coincidentally from another source, is subsequently commissioned or produced.
- The Company cannot accept responsibility for the loss or damage of your script or for any delay in its return for whatever cause.
- If there is any conflict between any provision of this agreement and any present or future statute, ordinance, regulation or collective bargaining agreement the latter shall prevail; provided, that the provision hereof so affected shall be limited only to the extent necessary and no other provision shall be affected
- Nothing herein shall be construed as requiring Company to produce or exploit any production based upon or adapted from the Material.
- This agreement shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, and the courts thereof shall be the courts of competent jurisdiction.
Writer acknowledges that in submitting the Material Writer has agreed to all of the foregoing.
